If you don’t want to take up valuable space in your case or carry excess luggage or do the washing aferwards (!), we do hire out, when available;

Walking the coastal path and want a packed lunch providing?  We can do this.  Dependent on what you’d like, the cost is from £4.00 for sandwiches, a drink, a piece of fruit and cake/biscuits.

Terms and Conditions of Booking:

Prices:  The price includes overnight accommodation and breakfast.  Unless clearly stated at the point of booking, any extra services required and provided may incur an additional cost.

We are not VAT registered; a receipt can be provided on request.

Deposit:  A non-refundable deposit equivalent to one night’s stay will be requested at the time of booking.  On receipt of the deposit we will post or email a final confirmation.  Without the deposit, we will not hold on to the reservation – we will have to let the room go.  Deposits can be taken by credit or debit card or by cheque (made payable to Anchor Lights).  All deposits MUST be received within 7 days of booking.

Payment: For bookings of 5 nights or more, we may request full and final payment 14 days prior to the holiday.

Cancellation: A reservation forms a legal contract for the total cost of the booking however we will work with you where we can.  The deposit of one night’s room charge is non-refundable.  However, we will not charge you for the length of your stay should we receive notice of your cancellation more than two weeks prior or we can re-let the room once we’ve received notification of cancellation.  Under those circumstances, we will refund in full OR not make the charge.

Non-availability:  We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.  We would make every attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible or unacceptable to you then we would refund all monies paid by you.  Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival/Departure:  Unless otherwise arranged, check in is after 1pm but no later than 9pm on the arrival date agreed, unless otherwise notified and agreed to.  Notice of your anticipated arrival time would be appreciated.  Should you arrive earlier than midday, we will be happy to store your luggage whilst your room is made ready.

Latest check out is 11am on the date of departure.  We are able to store any luggage for later collection should you wish it.

Damage: Any damage or staining to bed linen, carpets, furniture and soft furnishings may be liable to an £90 cleaning and/or repair charge.  This is at the discretion of the management.

By going ahead with your reservation it is implicit that you are in full agreement with these terms and conditions.  We look forward to having you stay.

A couple more things.. we’re sorry, but we don’t take pets.  We offer intimate, friendly accommodation, it just wouldn’t be fair on other guests who may or may not like animals to take in pets no matter how well behaved they are.
