Making Waves… Looe Music Festival

Thursday, December 16th, 2010

27-29th September 2013  www.looemusic.co.uk

With the success of the last 2 years of Looe’s very own music festival, the date has been set for this year.  Check out the website, above, to find out which bands will be taking centre stage this year.  Also, there are some early bird (2012 prices) up for sale at the moment – but you’ll need to be quick.

The music runs all day outdoors with stages on the beach and the Rose Garden on Fore Street, and then moves indoors into the pubs in the evenings.

Anchor Lights is offering a great deal for February and March 2013.  Two nights bed and breakfast in Pengelly or Fynn for just £89.00 per couple, or £99.00 in Culliver or Fletcher.  The offer runs from Monday – Thursday inclusive throughout February and March 2013.

Looe still has plenty to offer out of season.. there’s the coastal path walks, discover Kilminorth Woods, a spot of retail therapy in the shops of Looe, nearby Polperro and Fowey, everything from shopping to the maritime museum and sea park to be had in Plymouth, just 20 minutes from Looe.  Looe also has some great restaurants and pubs steeped in history all offering a warm and friendly welcome.  So you can do as much or as little as you wish.  To book, just drop us an email or call us.

Gearing up for the season ahead.  It’s been a great start to the week weather-wise, crisp, clear blue sky days.. and long may it continue!

We’ve had a number of people book in on the February/March deal we’re running so that’s allowing us to gear up steadily and it’s great to welcome back repeat guests.

We’ve managed to nab a couple of ‘early bird’ tickets for this year’s Looe Music Festival (September) paying 2012 prices which is great.  The line up is still to be announced but if it’s anything like the last 2 years, it’ll be great.

Also starting work on promoting TASTE South East Cornwall’s Looe Festival of Food and Drink which takes place on the last weekend of June this year very shortly.  It’s a job I really enjoy doing.
