2012 at… The Eden Project

The world famous Eden Project is approximately 45 minutes drive from us here in Looe and is a very popular place with guests. Calling All Foodies..

Did you know that Looe has three previous and current TASTE OF THE SOUTH WEST award winning restaurants in its midsts?  Trawler’s on The Quay, Barclay House and Squid Ink all have great reputations – and well deserved at that.

2012 will see the very first Looe Food and Drink Festival on the 23rd and 24th June.  A marquee in the Millpool will play host to food and drink demonstrations and some of the best food producers and suppliers in the South West.

Festival by the Sea

13th – 15th July 2012.. The return of the Festival of the Sea has been warmly welcomed and proved hugely successful.  Local restaurants take to the Quayside to serve up local fish and seafood dishes.  The RNLI run demonstrations in the harbour and out at sea.  And the annual , fiercely contested, anual raft race is absolutely side splitting – a must see.
